This meditation on the 'inner child,’ or that part of our identity within, will help you understand the mechanisms behind the wounded parts of our self from childhood. When we were little, our parents didn’t always know how to give us what that small child needed most. These deficiencies and longings echo within us and follow us throughout life, calling out for attention, love, acceptance, and care. We search for this and demand it from others. When you allow yourself to return to this part of yourself, you will meet your little girl or little boy from the past… You will let in the resources and love where there is the greatest calling and need for this delicate and important part of you.
